Well, Jaiden's first airplane ride was successful and she did wonderfully! She LOVED the airport. Pops and I took turns running around the airport, chasing our little energizer bunny! There was a three-story escalator that we also had to take turns riding on with her. She just loved it!
We stayed with my twin sister Jessy (picture above!) at her new house. It's a beautiful place and wonderful (and safe!) neighborhood. Jaiden had a blast running around, chasing her cousin Landon. Landon turned 4 while we were there, so we were able to celebrate his special day with him!
We also got the opportunity to go to Mondovi, Wisconsin to visit with my grandmother. I had not seen her in a few years, so that was wonderful as well! Jaiden really warmed up to her and enjoyed sitting on her lap and even wanted her to hold her while she had her bottle! It was a beautiful sight to see. My uncle Stan and aunt Carmen where also at my grandma's, which was another much-needed visit!
From Mondovi, we headed up to Eau Claire for a short visit with my cousin Stacy,who was in the hospital. Please pray for this sweet girl. She's really been struggling with some health problems and she's having a difficult time getting well!
It was a short visit, but after running around for three days, we were all worn out (as you can see by the picture of Jaiden and Landon above! Note: Pops put them in the carseats; notice that they might be in the wrong ones? he he he). It was nice to get home safely and get back into our routine (of running around here!)
